I havn't heard much about desert boots before, but maybe I like how they look? A lot of people here were talking about the clarks, which I was thinking were ugly for the most part. Then I find these common projects. The ones here are on sale for like 215, down from around 300. Everywhere else I look they are listed for the full price. Is there any reason the white ones are discounted? I've been wearing all white sneakers for the past ten years, so it's not entirely suprising I like them, but I am worried they will get really dirty and look like crap fast.

Input? This is a decent amont of money for me, so I can't buy shoes that won't last, but I just got an email from South Willard telling me the brown bluchers I ordered sold out in my size, and my feet need covering fast.

Also I am a US size 12... what does that make me in Common Projects. The website I am buying from says 12 should be a 45... but then every other website I am looking at says 45 is a 11 in us.

thanks man, this is what I was hoping for.

Any idea what size in common Projects I will want? I wear a 12 US... my feet are like 11.5, 11.6 inches in length.

They run a little bigger than their tagged size, imo. I normally wear a 9 US, and I wear a 41 (equivalent to size 8) in CPs. my friends who own CPs have confirmed this one-size-down thing as well

Don't size down, you probably want a 45. I'm the same size as you, I wear a 45 and they're a little tight because the toe box is a little narrow. If I were to buy them again, I would consider a 46.*

*I wear the Achilles, btw, not the desert boot.
