Anyone own a pair? Bought the Generals in polarized glass 58mm and as you can see, they're WAY too big. I freakin love them but of course my luck they dont come in 55mm which would probably be perfect. Can't decide whether to just return or exchange for the 52mm..do you think they'd be too small? im 6"3 but i have a really small head/face

Only you can decide what to do with them. But AO quality just isn't there. If you like that style, get the originals, a pair of Ray-Bans (although not what they once were, either, but better than AO). Or Randolph Engineering. There are plenty of brands that make a classic aviator.

Well i really like how they feel and look, just I look like an Alien with these 58mm. I like the more teardrop look more than the AO Orginals. Im just afraid the 52s will be way too small. Just wanted people's thoughts if they think they would.

My face shape might even look better with more of a Wayfarer though, not sure.

Get yourself down to a Sunglass Hut and try a bunch of stuff on.

As I said, if you want classic aviators, then throw the AOs away and get something else. If you want the "Top Gun" style, throw the AOs away and get Randolphs. But the world is not short of sunglass choices. And life is too short to own just one pair or type. Believe me.
