Anyone listen to Travis???

Does anybody listen to the band Travis? I first saw them open for Oasis about 7 years ago and have been hooked ever since. They are a great band and I am looking forward to their next album, I really like the songs Flowers in the window and why does it always rain on me? I was just wondering if anybody else listens to them on here.

I LOVE Travis. They're the best live performing band I've ever seen. I caught them at the Wiltern a couple of years ago. You would have freaked - near the end of their set, he played Flowers in the Window, solo with no mic, on an acoustic guitar.

I love their song "Why does it always rain on me", I really do think it's because I lied when I was 17.

Driftwood is also an awesome song. Love the intro. Overall, a pretty solid band.

Nice, pleasant, occasionally great pop tunes. Not going to change the world, but they're not out to - when you basically wear your influences on your sleeve, it's about how well you sell it, and imo, and they sell it pretty well.

IIRC, right before "Parachutes" blew up and Coldplay became one the biggest blands - er, sorry, bands - in the world, there was a heated Travis/Coldplay debate among the UK music press. I think they were hoping for a repeat of Oasis/Blur or something. Tossers.
