Anyone know anything about these Mantellassi loafers?

They look like leather versions of a pair of suede Mantellasis i bought from STP that are in their regular line (not handmade). They are nice and if you like your loafers sleek rather than conservative, they're great. Besides, given the seller did not post a picture of the soles, I'm glad they reassured us with this line:
Heel Good ..No Holes On Soles..

Seriously. I figured for $50 since the uppers looked pretty good the soles couldn't be that bad haha and they used trees!

Handmades, and worth a whole lot more than you paid! I forgot to bid so you stole them. Good job!

Here's the pics of the loafers. They are very nice, appear to be 5-10 years old or so, but in great condition. There is a lot of detailing and you can tell they're very well made.

They're not new but pretty close, I love them, though!

Great looking loafers Drizzt. I know there is a decided preference for English/American brands on both Styleforum and Ask Andy (definitely a theme on the latter), but sometimes the flair of the Italians is just more appropriate. Pairing the jeans with these shoes looks perfect.

I know you outbid me on them

I put in a fairly low snipe since I already have an almost exact pair of S.M. with a goodyear welt instead of the norweigan welt. Enjoy them, they're awesome loafers. I like mine more than my J.L. Jermyn II's which is amazing since I normally can't stand loafers.

Hehe well good thing you put a low snipe, I didn't set mine that high either, like $80 or so. I agree, they're really awesome shoes. I normally prefer monkstraps etc as well.
