There's a menswear store named Linea Pitti on P Street by Dupont Circle. Last year or year before that, I walked in and their wall was full of Italian suits of brands I'd never heard of.

Everett Hall Suits are made to accomadate larger men. The Suits are decent considering they are off the rack. For the gentleman who said that his $150 suits from Marshalls look better, Yeah Right!! Show me a pic! Most suit retailers do not consider that most men do not look good in a fitted suit and do not make sizes larger than a 50 long. Everett Hall gives larger men the option of looking nice without having to buy down in quality. Lastly, most "Ethnic" men are fuller in the legs and thighs so yeah, the room in the pants are appreciated. I am still laughing at the person who said that Everett Hall is an upscale version of Bachrach, clearly not so!!

I hate this type of indy store. They litter moderately well-to-do parts of places like Detroit, LV, and DC. They are filled will italian garbage and like 3 or 4 Brioni things. They have a list of the brands they carry decaled to the window, 5 or 6 faux-talian names + Zegna/Brioni. And they have the slimiest salesmen in the business.

oh yeah... I hate those places with a passion. There's one right next to the Four Seasons in Georgetown on M street... I guess they stay in business because businessmen staying at the Four Seasons - clueless about high-end menswear - are tricked by the faux-talian names and think that since the dress shirt is selling for $220 then it must be good. And they're also tricked by the cut-out framed GQ advertisements.. And what about Riccardi of Georgetown! Right near Uno's on M Street across from Banana Republic. Another faux-talian shithole with the slimiest salespeople in the world. I went in there once and couldn't believe my ears - you should have heard what this guy was saying! I had a hard time keeping a straight face...

Has anyone been to Daddy & Son on Connecticut Avenue, north of Dupont Circle? From the outside my initial impression was faux Italian indy store, but I've never gone in.

I think they may be real Italian, but nothing particularly interesting. They tried to shill themselves on the forum a few years ago ("oh hai I am former exchange student I found amazing shirts at daddy e son here is website").

I live in the detroit area and i purchased
an everett hall suit from a store called broadway in downtown detroit. I like the style of his suits, they are definitley after 5. I am not impressed with the quality at all. I paid $1500 for one of his suits and they dryclean horrible the fabric bubbles off the lining. The lining is stitched poorly to the suit. Luv the style Mr. Hall but ur quility a lot 2 b desired.

Was in the very upscale Tysons II mall over the weekend - and noticed that the Everett Hall store just outside Neiman Marcus was closed! As in, not open for business. I can't say I was surprised - I was much more surprised to see them open but never once with a potential customer inside. What was the monthly rent at that location - $15,000? $20,000? Glad to see them finally take down their shingle.

This place just opened a location in Bethesda, so I checked out their website, only to be relatively dismayed by the fact that the shirts appeared targeted to those who want to go clubbing on New York Ave.
