Price for goodyear welted boots seems low, was wondering about quality. Please share if you know. Thanks.

Seems they have really low prices & nice styling with goodyear welted soles.

I'm interested in getting a pair, but need to try on for size. Does anyone know of any shops in London which stock the brogue boot?

Don't bother. I have a pair of these. The leather is gawdawful (smells very strongly of gasoline or benzine!) and the fit is so bad that even though its my size, the top is so fookin loose while from the vamp down its pretty snug. And it somehow rubs at the back of the heel. ripped my skin to shreds. Sole is also unforgivingingly hard.

Bought a loakes Burford after that and things are good. Now looking at Alfred Sargent Dumfries...

The leather quality is very poor - they're designed as work boots.

Thanks for that, saved me a lot of time and hassle.
