If you look at Phat Guido's posts in What Are You Wearing, he has alot.

Also, he posted a stack in a thread recently, about Australian shoes.

I recently bought a pair of Weston's and a pair of C&J. I could be remembering incorrectly but I thought the Weston's were around $800 and the C&J were at least $5-600. Close enough.

If you're going to spend that much on a shoe it shouldn't really be an issue to spend another $200.

That's a 60% difference. Significant no matter what the scale. Or to reverse your argument- then one should buy 2pr C&J's because the $200 increased expense is insignificant. And you two pairs to boot.

If you were comparing 2 pairs of C&J to 1 pair of Weston and $ was a concern I see no problem with applying that reasoning to talk yourself into 2 pair of shoes. I wanted to try both shoe makers, and now I know never to go back to C&J.
