Anyone experience a Cartier suit?

I am looking at this Cartier suit on ebay. It is a 3-piece tweed. Apparently it is made by Botany 500, which I know is junk. However, I wonder if they made a decent suit for Cartier. Seller is claiming it retailed for $2500. Comments please.
