Anyone ever seen these shoes?

I just purchased a pair of Florsheim shoes on ebay.. seller states theyve only been used once and are burgundy cordovan leather. I only paid 43$ including shippin (B.I.N)
I guess i just thought cordovan shoes were usually more expensive (even though florsheim isnt as pricey as some other brands), so Im wondering if anyone has actually seen this specific model and can confirm .

Those look nice and likely an awesome deal at $43. Are they real cordovan? I've found some ebay sellers mistake cordovan color with cordovan leather, although yours do have the appearance of real shell from the shine in the pictures.

I'll find out in 3-5 days. thats why i was asking. how can i tell if its "real" ? ive never owned/dont have other cordovan shoes to compared them with.

These look like the pairs the sell at the Rack for like $90.

But I know nothing about Florsheim shoes and even more so on Cordovan Florsheim shoes.

I'll say 99% these are corrected grain leather. Not bad looking though.

from what I understand if these shoes are at all recent......(like within the past 10 years) then they are not shell cordovan (florsheim stopped using shell a long time ago)

Based on the insole, lining, and outsole, those are very recent Florsheims.
