Anyone ever have their suits tailored in the R. Lauren store?

I have a few suits coming and and the SA mentioned they would do the tailoring for me in store when they came in. It sounded like he meant it would be free barring any significant issues. Has anyone ever done this before?

What city? In Boston they charge for it, but did a good job for me. It did take a while though.

Unfortunately, and
if you bought them on sale it's not free.

I dropped off a couple of suits in early January and there is a three week lag time, but the tailor seemed pretty confident.

Unfortunately? so does that mean you have had a bad experience with them? I will most likely take them else where as there is a number of good tailors in the city...and yes it is Boston
