Does anyone have any experiences here, good or bad? Everything is their own label, who makes their goods? What about quality?

I posted the OP because I have a Caldi cashmere overcoat. It's a wrap around style and is about Canali or Corneliani quality IMO.

I've been gone from NYC for quite a while.

Doesn't anyone in NYC know if they are still open and if so, what they are like these days.

They're still open. I was there last week & they have nice SC's & cashmeres. I asked them who manufactures their stuff & the salesman told me Mario Caldi does. So I asked the other salesman & he was clueless. They seem to have nice stuff & they're running a 50% off sale so I was curious as to their quality.

I have! It's great! I love the quality of the clothes and the sales. Unfortunately, I think the store on Madison is closed but there are two more stores in nyc. One on 57th between 7th and 6 ave and the other on 56 and 7th ave both by Carnegie Hall. I really like Mario Caldi! I'm glad I found the other stores.
