Nice coats, just not as warm as you'd think they'd be.

Thats right. I have a Gloverall pea coat (same fabric as the duffer) and its not that warm at all. I got it from my grandfather and was happy with it anyway. But it still isn't a very warm coat.

Ordered some 34 oz whipcord coating from Scotland. It'll be late for this year but I'm not moving so no big deal.

And if you do find yourself needing to move, you can build the new house out of the whipcord.
