I'm headed there on Thursday and staying through Sunday for a wedding. I leave on Wednesday of the following week.

Would you advice a trip to:
- DMZ
- Busan
- Gyeongiu
- something else?

Thanks!

Tell us what you're looking for...

if you're looking to stay in Seoul and you're not wanting to do a mix... you really can't beat Seoul

Here's my experience:
Would you advice a trip to:
- DMZ: It's ok. Don't expect to see Kim Jong Eun or cross the border... it's pretty much: you stare at NK and how clear the water is between the borders

- Busan: Honestly, I would avoid this area... It's "ok." At best, it's a poor man's Seoul.

- Gyeongiu: lots of old korea. if you're interested in korean culture, then this is where you should go.
- something else?

3 days in Hong Kong would be nice - fly Sunday return Wed. Could also do Beijing, Shanghai, Guilin, or Tokyo instead, though PRC visa can be pricey.

If traveling alone, I would try to snag as much plastic snatch as I could.
