Anybody Heard From Jantzen Recently?

I gave in an order about 3 weeks ago, still no peep. Thing is, I sent back a shirt that arrived in the wrong fabric, and now I'm wondering if I've offended Ricky, which would suck.
I don't even really care if I get a new shirt or whatever, I just want my new order. So meh.
Any luck from any other forum Jantzen-fans?

You´re not alone. An hour ago I called Jantzen Tailor by phone, hoping that I might speak to Ricky, but he doesn´t seem to be in the office.
Having placed my order on 03/10/2006 I was beginning to worry a bit, as I haven´t even got a confirmation yet. I also wrote two e - mails, but no reply.
Quite a pity, as the shirt was intended to be a Easter present for my father. We will have to be patient and keep our fingers crossed.
Concerning your complaint about the shirt I presume Ricky won´t be that easily offended.

I called a few days ago and he said that he was really really busy and asked if I could forward my question via email. No response yet.

Could you tell me at which time you called? It would be a great improvement for me just to get him on the phone.

Did like everybody in this entire forum order a shirt from him?

No wonder he's backed up.

Received two shirts yesterday. Wearing one now.

Order was placed on 3/2/06. Received an email from Ricky about a week and a half ago saying that one fabric I ordered was out of stock, but that the other shirts were on their way.

Total time about 5-6 weeks.

I received my confirmation just the other day as well. Has anyone else noticed the note at the bottom of the main page - that Ricky's raised the price to 310HKD? I still don't know how he charges so little...

I ordered four shirts a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything either.

Unfortunately it's a somewhat complicated order, so I may be SOL.

By the way, I've found that it's worthwhile adding an extra shirt to your order as insurance. Ricky's so busy that if one or more fabrics are out of stock, he ususally just makes and ships the rest.

I ordered 7 shirts in the beginning of March. I emailed to get confirmation of my order, didn't hear back. Emailed a week or so ago to check, got a prompt reply saying they were shipping that weekend. It's just part of the experience. Every time I've been to the physical store, it has been jam packed with bags and customers - the fact that he can somehow find time to answer overseas phonecalls and emails on any level is astounding.

I'm amused by the price increase, since it's effectively about two and a half bucks. I feel like he could raise it by ten with a reason of "I deserve it" and he'd still manage to be as busy as he is.

Yeah, I'm probably just being impatient. I also always order 2-at-a-time, just in case.
And the 2 dollar price think kinda cracks me up. Someday he'll just drop the HK part of the $ sign and then all of SF will have $900 credit-card bills from our 20-shirt orders.
