It's hard with so much good food put in front of me. I try to be selective but tasting menus at restaurants and alcohol don 't help. I try to make up for it by exercising more.

I never let it bother me. I pretty much eat whatever I want during the holidays. I rarely if ever see my weight go up by more than a pound or two and most of the time I see no change. In fact the only tangible evidence of holiday gluttony is carb bloat which dissipates in less than a week of normal eating and exercise.

I eat what I want, but try to keep portions down to minimize weight gain. Usually 1-2lbs is normal.

Not this year. I inexplicably put on 15 lbs. last holiday season that I was unable to lose over the course of the year.

Don't have such a list. All intake must be balanced with output though, or body size will adjust itself to compensate. Nosu, I figure 6 truffles equals about 6 miles of jogging, depending on how much baggage you carry, so in an hour you have fully atoned.

if you live a healthy lifestyle, letting yourself go for a couple weeks is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and can even be a benefit in some ways.

don carlos has spoken like a true idiot regarding fitness and fatness. go ahead and swear off everything in the name of avoiding the "pain" of getting "in shape."

Yeah I eat and drink whatever I want during Christmas. I haven't gained any weight this year as I'm still keeping pretty active.

It's all about portion control Kid. Eat everything seasonal you want, just put tiny amounts of each on your plate. You won't be left out, or gain weight and you'll continue to look good.

The soft and buttery texture of your pie is matched by that of your thigh.
