Any women's Chic jeans (from the 80's) alternatives?

My girlfriend has been searching for these exact type of Chic jeans to relive her youth:

Would anyone know of a similar jeans made today? Slim fitting, tapered legs, with that tulip shape at the cuffs.

Barring that, if anyone has some old pairs in their basement, waist 26 or 28 inches, I'll be happy to snag them from you

ack... sorry, now that my other half isn't here jumping up and down about Chic jeans, I realize this is a guy's forum. Please toss out this thread.

Won't happen again.

Promise

Maybe try the Vogue Forums?

Why not the jeans in the auction? (Although the ending price might be pretty high...)

Thanks for the tips, everyone! I'll check into the other forums. Also, if I can get my gf interested in a pair of Bettina Liano, that could let me snag another Japan denim

That's what I'm thinking. Since it's from an actual TV show, the ending price might be outrageous. I'm keeping my eye on it, as I haven't come across that particular model of jeans in a long time. Well, I've got some leads, so I'm off to research! Thanks again
