Ngrh, the anticipation is killing me. Btw, Manton, are you planning to offer any copies of the book for sale directly (ie getting a bigger cut)? If so, I will cancel my Amazon pre-order [IMG] !

With all of the great posts on proper clothing, I've been looking forewrad to the book. I have not ordered as I want a copy with an autograph. How do I order one of that type?

Manton, did you decide to make it more picture-heavy? I think I remember your mentioning that there was some discussoin about that.

Yeah, it went something like this:

Me: Let's put a lot of pictures in it!
    Publisher: Too expensive
Me: But it would be great!
Publisher: It's not that kind of book
Me: I think it would help make the book better
Publisher: Do you want us to publish this or not?
    Me: Yes, sir. [IMG]

Seriously, if anyone from HarperCollins is reading this, I love you guys!

As to autographed copies, I really have no idea if there are plans for that. Certainly, if anyone wants to send me a copy, I will sign it and send it back.

Sorry to hear that you didn't get the pictures you wanted.

All the same I am very excited to read it.

Will you agree to sign the book with ALL of your names?

Amazon is still saying there's a projected delivery date of May 5-9 for my order. I guess that just needs to be updated. Looking forward to it!

Beat me to it. Every time I order from Amazon I see "The Suit" taunting me from my pre-orders list....

Not really. Books usually ship from the bindery a month before the official publication date, and will start popping up as soon as a week after that. It's not like a movie (at least not on 99% of books) where there's a national launch date.
