Any thoughts on Uri Minkoff's bags?

Hi guys, I'm eyeing on this Paul Backpack by Uri Minkoff, which was allegedly made of "saffiano leather and patent leather".

Apparently, Uri Minkoff claimed that the bag is made of saffiano and patent leather. Can I be assured that the leather used is at least a top-grain leather but not bonded/split/genuine leather? I have reached out to them for comments but haven't received any response so far.

Also, has anyone owned any leather products from Uri Minkoff before? How's their quality and will it hold up for at least a few years?

Thanks a lot for the opinion in advance!

Only they can tell you of what it is made but an email might be better than stretching out to touch them. The pattern is the key 'saffiano' feature and that means little or nothing these days. There is no mention of 'patent' leather in the description, that is very different and not likely to be used in a common or garden bag. I think that you will find that 'patent' refers to protection of the original IPR.

Did 'search' yield any earlier comments, I don't recall this make being mentioned here - although someone will prove me wrong!
