Any thoughts about this Ralph Lauren navy blazer?

That's a decent blazer, and I have one that I use on the road. Especially for that price point. It travels great, road, wrinkle-free and fits quite well. The brass buttons that come with it are rather subdued, but if you'd like to tone it down further, you can get silver metals on the side.

Plus, as a New Englander, I've a special affection for the brand (well, for the "new" brand anyway).

I disagree. A navy blazer is a classic, and can instantly "dress up" an outfit. You can tone it down with silver buttons if you must, but taking away the metal buttons sort of defeats the purpose.

Can't be 100% sure about this one, but i have 3 button Polo jackets and they have a great lapel roll. When I button the middle button, it rolls to look exactly as a 2 button. Very nice look.

I like those Anderson-Little. How come they don't show the measurements on sizes and stuff?

You know, I like blazers and I liked the A&L concept, so I went to the linked site. I gots to tell y'all, that even in the awkwardly byzantine world of mens' clothing sites, this is maybe the champion unnavigable unusable site I have ever seen. Where are the sizes? Where are the products? Is this blazer the only thing they make? How does one get one?

I'm a web designer. Maybe I should go talk to these guys. Whoever is managing their web presence is a chump.

Grr,

Apparently it's half polyester, it says 'wool blend'. When it says 'wool blend' without saying what it's blended with that usually means poly.

Yeah, that's the downside. However, it works great as a travel/emergency blazer cause it can take a beating and come out unwrinkled.

I think I've read that it's 55/45 wool/polyester. That one blazer is what they make, focusing upon one evidently popular article to fill a niche and keep costs down. Again, from what I've read, the wool blend is done so well that many think it is 100% wool. They are pretty high on them at AAAC, considering the cost and, as Metlin says, staying quite wrinkle-free during travel.

Edit: The A-L blazer is 55/45 polyester/wool.
