Any recommendations for T-shirt blanks for ornamentation/screenprinting?

Looking to get a line going, have an LLC, EIN, etc. I've got Alpha/Broder catalogs, American Apparel, and price lists and stuff but I'm honestly left feeling like there must be some decent blank companies that are not being represented here. I'd like to try to keep things under about $4 a shirt (obviously the lower the better), and it seems absurd to me that it seems to be just the two AAs and then a bunch of total shit (Gildan, Anvil, etc.). Anyone with experience who could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

depending on quantity you might have to go direc to factories in Pakistan, Peru and
other places that use organic cotton and have experianced semstresses.

If you're selling to the right people, they'll recognize the difference in quality is greater than the difference in price if you offer something like one of the AAs.

You'll probably feel better knowing that you're not peddling sweatshop goods, too.
