Any recommendations for a spring casual jacket

Looking for something like a military field jacket but without the shoulder straps. Or maybe something like a Gasoline Station/ Ike Jacket.

Get yourself onto the APC webpage. Or if you are in NYC, go to Unis or John Varvatos (I have models from both companies, thougth the Unis model has epaulettes. Loads to choose from.) Or get thee to a real army surplus store.

Well, Varvatos is doing to be the most conservative of the choices. But they do have some cool jackets (am wearing one today, from last S/S season.)

You might want to check out Yoox. They always have some interesting outerwear.

Authentic milsurp would be my choice. You should be able to find stuff without epaulettes, and if not, you could always cut them off.
