    what's up,

newly registered on this forum although i've been following denim for quite some time. I just finished creating an account on rakuten and was wondering if anybody knew of stores on rakuten that will ship to USA if I pay for the items. I can't speak japanese so I have no way of asking. thanks.

I currently own some Sugar Cane Hawaii's , Studio D'artisan sd-102, nudie RRDS, APC new standard, LVC's 501xx and some beater jeans like rock & republic, AG's, s7vens. Looking forward to pick up some more raw denim direct from japan.

When superfuture gets back online, there is an awsome thread that describes all known available options to get Japanese denim outside of Japan. Included is the exact list you are looking for, then some ideas you may not have thought about.

It is in the "Denim Encyclopedia" stickied at the top of the "superdenim" forum.

Milwaukee You can just email them what you want instead of using the order form. Use simple phrases, they use an e-translator.

To me, the ability to return items to Blue in Green is totally worth the price difference. I'd just wait until their website is up and order away :p

does hinoya ship, i don't think they do..[IMG]
I listed stores that have shipped to me in NYC. Hinoya said they don't always ship to the USA, but they would this time .... or something to that effect.

The Japanese stores are notorious for not answering emails. THis is from Superfuture experience.

I picked up a pair of grey sugarcanes. Thought it would be good for Fall, but man do they itch.

Yeah I bought the Okinawas. Never really read the sf sugercane bible, but I really can't believe the attention to detail on them. Glad I bought these over a pair of Grey APCs, although the loud striations remind me a little of Rocawear/street jeans. [IMG]
