Any polo.com discount codes that still work?

RLTRUNK and others shared a few weeks ago have expired.

Just wanted to pick up something at polo.com. Any discount codes (preferably of the 15 to 20% variety) would be greatly appreciated.

There hasn't been much change to their inventory lately, and I haven't received many emails. I'm sensing a fall/winter sale coming up. Anyone concur?

I'm hoping for big sales coming up, either at polo.com or elsewhere. I need to buy some trousers for gifts.

hey the sales start this thursday at the polo stores (and at every other retailer it seems). the private private starts starts this thursday the 8th. they will put things aside for you now if you go to the store. i went this weekend and put aside a grey flannel congressman suit that is pretty classic. the prices are something like 40 percent off black and purple label, plus another 15 percent if you ask (they usually send a mailer), and 30 percent off blue label (plus the 15). i think the "public" private sale is exactly one week later -- polo.com should be sending out notices of all of that.

Man, I'm getting good at sensing this sort of thing. Just got home, and there was the Polo card in the mail. The code is NOV16, good on - you guessed it - November 16.

I got jacked the last time I ordered on sale RLPL Mackays. They had my size in stock, I ordered them with a fabulous 20% discount only to have the phone number I provided not match what was on my CC records. Well at least that was the reason they gave when they canceled my order (and my follow up confirmed that I had a different number on file) So they bounce the order, some punk takes my size, so I had no Mackays.

I see them on the sale site again. Assuming they're still there when I order them, if I don't have a coupon code now, do you think they would retroactively give me the discount, whether it's for a coupon or subsequent sales? I'm curious as to their policy about price adjustments if I just pay the non-additional coupon price just to snag my size now, and try to get an additional discount later. From previous posts (which i can't find now), it appears they'd be willing to do it.

I'm curious if a polo store would take care of this as well.

Can someone please explain how the private sale works? I finally live in a town with an RL store within walking distance.

Damn - that brings a purple label suit to about $1700 - still well above what I'm willing to pay for a suit right now - even though I really like the SB peak lapel they're offering right now. Oh well.

So, to clarify, does the 40% + 15% apply to the entire site that day? I have my eye on an alligator strap and engine turned buckle, which if 55% off, I won't pass up. Anyone with insight?

I think it's actally 49% off.

1-[(1-0.4)*(1-0.15)] = .49

Yes, I guess it depends whether they take the 40% off then take the 15% off or simply add the two together and cut the price. Oh well, I won't cry over the lost 6% in any case.

Does anyone remember if when the sale happened last spring, if it applied storewide?

IIRC the 15% off will work on anything, and the 40% off will be the sale price of select items.

I thought the original 40% off mentioned was for store only not online? If it's online as well when does that come into play and whats the code
