here? I usually use a Lamy 2000. What's your preference?

Hope this turns into a good thread,

Chris

I alternate among three: an orange resin Xezo (cheap e-bay brand, but still looks nice), Waterman Harmonie, and a vintage Cartier tri-band with 18k nib. Fortunately, all are capable of using the same cartridge.

Pelikan 600 is my "usual" pen. My usual pens are the ones that I'm not afraid (or won't suffer a heart-attack) if stolen.

Also various Montblancs

in fountain or rollerball.
And occasional rotation of Dupont and Cartier.

I'm considering a Visconti Van Gogh Maxi. Aesthetically it looks beautiful but I'm unsure of the quality. Is anyone familiar with visconti FP's.

This would be my first foray into FP's as I've had the same montblanc rolling ball and ballpoint for years now.

I alternate between a Pelikan Souverain 800 and a Namiki Nippon Art for my fountain pens. The Pelikan has superior balance and heft, but I prefer the Namiki nib.

I also have a Waterman Exception roller-ball; the square shape of the pen really stood out when I was browsing over stuff at the Fountain Pen Hospital. I think some group overseas voted the Exception fountain pen as their 'pen of the year' recently, so I guess I have good taste...
