Any "one-pair-of-jeans" guys here?

Been wondering - are there any people here who wear just one pair of jeans all the time, especially without washing?

Not sure how things were in the past past, but I assume most people didn't have more than 2 pairs - tops, and didn't wash them much either.

I think I read a story about trappers never washing them for years and wiping hands and what not on them all the time. Must have had some sick fades, nevermind the funk... Quintessential

just remembered, someone from my class never washed a pair of wool pants (school uniform), raindrops beaded from the grease lol

When I do wear jeans, I pretty much only wear my Nudie Grey Coated Thin Finns or my Apc New Cures. I've been wearing shorts quite alot recently though. Summer in socal does that to you.

I've only been wearing my apc's for the past few months. In the winter I switch up to the black sammies but still have my black diors and black new standards to break in.

Going jean ape **** like shoe is pointless since they get better with wear and you can't do that if you have too many pairs.

Au contraire, if they're too new they look dumb no matter what.

I've been sticking with the same pair for the past 9 or so months, mostly because I have nothing else.

Ideally I would have a rotation of 2-3, so I wouldn't wear out the first 2 too fast and the 3rd pair would stay crisp and raw for a long time.

Interesting perspective. Can't say I agree, though. My Mics still look like the first time I wore them and they're probably my favourite jeans.

Yes. My incos, wool slacks, other pants and SHORTS need wear too.

I have had my current jeans for about one and a half year and logged in probably 8 months worth of quality wear. Washed 5-6 times, yet by some stroke of luck the fading turned out alright. They will retire (from go-to duties, still worn occasionally I imagine) this Fall / Winter. I've bought and sold half a dozen pairs looking for the right replacement, I think I've found one at last.

I have two pair of jeans. One for eight months. I run in them every morning. All that sweat from ****** is on the seat of the jean. It smells when I put my nose to it. I'm going to wash them at the end of December.

I can't see myself having more than 4 pair of jeans.

I only own a pair of new cures and some rinsed 514's, but considering how much I wear the them, the new cures might as well be the only pair I own. Daily wear since April and two soaks.

I just got through my SJDJ and am starting my APC NS. I usually have another pair of relatively new nondistressed denim for when I don't want to look like a slob. It was my NS when I was doing the SJDJ and now it'll be a pair of FH3001.

I only own 2 pairs of jeans. 5ep resin one wash and apc rescues. Over the last 9 months, I have solely worn the 5ep's and they have gotten some really good wear. I am hoping I give my rescues a bit more wear in the winter, but the fit on the rescues is nowhere near the fit of the 5ep.
