I really like their Port wood finish. Although it has steadily crept up in price and is probably at the upper threshold of QPR.

Well?????
Honestly after the first sip of Oogie all my palate could taste was peat and pepper and the two didn't come off as all that different even during side by side. Corry was slightly more peppery and robust but that was about all I could distinguish between the two.
TLDR: both are awesome and you should drink either one when presented with the opportunity

That has been my experience as well. I prefer the oogie personally.

This, for sure. Most reviews I read put it at $75 or so. This was $103, I think. So, ya, prices are a creeping

I have heard nothing but good things. I need to try more of the Irish varieties.

K&L is starting pre-orders on their yearly scotch barrel picks. Some very interest ones so far (Aberlour 11 first fill sherry, Dalmore 10 first fill sherry, Laphroaig 12 refill sherry, etc). Always so hard not ordering a ton of bottles.
