I like Octomore, but man, the prices have gotten insane. Pretty sure I'd rather have three bottles of Laphroaig cask strength.

Which, by the way, is tonight's dram.

Am rediscovering Laphroaig after my bottles collecting dust for the past several years. Really enjoying the different expressions again after a long time off.

Funny, same here. I’ve had a 15 & 16 just sitting around. They were gifted to me years ago, before my acquired taste for peaty scotch. The first time I tried them back then, I was like yuuuck. Now, they are delicious to me.

On the bright side of 2020, I’ve discovered this dram in the last year. Can’t get enough of it. Amazing juice. 384D0CEF-2D37-487C-B4AD-6051951F7AC4.jpeg

I never NOT have a bottle of Lagavulin 16 on hand.
I like Laphroaig, just not as much. I like all that have smoke and seaweed...

Bladnoch 17. Just picked it up. 2001 resting in US ex-bourbon barrels, then in 2016 disgorged and placed in red wine barrels.
I'm going to open it Christmas Eve at my family's Super Spreader event.

That’s a new bottling I think. It’s the wine cask

It is very very good. I hadn’t had anything from Benriach in years so this was a flier for me; but I was very happy with it. It’s a great break from the usual for me..
