Color looks good... let’s me know how it is

It is very good. I'd highly recommend finding this one if you can. I tried it with and without a splash of water, and its actually highly drinkable without, so that's how I plan to enjoy this going forward. Thanks for turning me on to this one.

Trying something new tonight. Can definitely tell it's a NAS at least in the first few sips. Total sherry bomb though. Not too bad. I'm thinking next time though I'll just pay the extra for a'bunadh.... that might change as the bottle opens up a bit.

It won't. Its good, but its no A'bunadh.

Have you had it long? I want to say it was released like 2 years ago but they are still on batch 0001???

I bought it a couple weeks ago, just cracked it open tonight because we were celebrating with some cigars and I wanted something with a bit more oomph to it (my other open bottles are glenfarclas 17, glenfarclas 12, and talisker 10). I have some unopened japanese stuff (yamazaki 12, hakushu 12, matsui mizunara cask) but thought those would be way too light to pair with a cigar. Didn't want to crack open rgw a'bundah i've been saving yet either, so this was it. :p

But our cigars were pretty darn mellow so I probably should have gone with a glenfarclas or talisker. But I'm glad to get it open to try it out. It's certainly not bad, but the aftertaste is pretty sharp. Gotta be careful with the NAS stuff. Given how good a'bundah was I figured I'd give it a shot. It had some pretty good reviews online.

Any tips/tricks to removing a rotted cork without the whole damn thing disintegrating and falling in the hooch?

You're probably gonna have to just push it through and decant it.

This. Had same with a bottle of hazmat Stagg a few months back, despite tipping bottles monthly. Or you could pass it through a strainer and funnel back into bottle and cork it with a new cork..
