I prefer it, thankfully (given the price factor lol). Nose is a bit more decadent (got big salted caramel and candied nuts) and palate is a bittttttttt softer on the finish.

Probably prefer Signatory's BN, given the cost (annoyed I didn't get backups), but this is good enough on first pour that I don't feel like a sucker for buying it.

I say yes. Man, that nose as it starts to open up? Gorgeous.

I had someone pre-buy on Reddit bemoan the cost differential/discount the Adelphi, given the Adelphi's refill/Sig's first fill barrel status, which happily I don't think is warranted. It's less of a bomb than the Signatory, but it's lovely in its own right. Really, really decadent, candied nose that I think makes it worthwhile on its own.

Another first, this time Tormore. Very enjoyable. Crisp and fruity…but with a decided punch.

Such a frisky little pour. Wine and semi-untamed peat play really well.

Glenlivet is underwhelming. Port Ellen is nicely chiselled, mineral, semillon comes to mind.
