Popped open this one. It's a blend of 16-25yo (1990 to 1999 distillation) Yoichi bottled in 2015 at a hefty 55% ABV. Ironically it goes for cheaper than Yoichi 15 at auction. I finished an open bottle I bought at a liquidation sale and had to source one full bottle of my own.

And this Yamazaki is also very good. It's relatively affordable for a high-proof age-stated Yamazaki as it was sold under the Suntory umbrella.

Marking down. These are all (largely) CS, ya? Super decent pricing.

Edit: how does delivery work? KL just compiles at one location and ships and/or you can pick up at that location?

Apparently they've got a Culver location, which is probably too close not to pickup lol. I'm always neurotic about bottles getting busted in transit.

Edit II: are the bulk of those Signatory bottles all dropping in the November/early December timeframe? Would align well with my winter pivot back to scotch

They can deliver when they arrive, or you can put as 'ship to store' and then just pick up a bunch of orders whenever you want.

Usually with K&L I put everything as ship to store, and then once I have a decent batch of orders, I use their 'local delivery' (free over a certain amount). Their local delivery is literally just one of their employees driving to your house and dropping it off, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Incredible old Caol Ila distilled pre-1972 and bottled at 57% ABV.

Like really old grappa with a malt backbone. Ugni Blanc skins and stems, green pears, macadamia nut, camphor.
