That makes regular run of the mill Macallan 30 or Louis Tre taste like shit. You’ll never be able to drink a regular $10,000 bottle of Scotch again and think it’s any good. Your life has reached its pinnacle and it’s all game over now.

Time to sell? I've let go all of my bottles thatvl have appreciated. There's plenty of great scotch at reasonable prices.

How does Green Spot compare to say... Red Breast 12yo?

I have them both, and they are very similar to me. May be a Duff Beer type thing where they all come out of the same pipe.
For you, I just went and nipped at both bottles.
MAYBE a little more sweetness with the Red Breast...
