There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So any of the NYers in this threak that are around on March 22nd, I am holding a trunk show between 35th and 36th St (519 8th Avenue, 8th floor). I'll have some refreshments including what is pertinent to the thread, the scotches below. Come by and have a taste if you like.

Just picked up some staples, talisker 10, hp12 and Yamazaki 12. As much as I've been enjoying old stuff lately, these are some of my favorites.

I also picked up a Nikka 12 yr Pure malt and found it to be disappointing. I may try it again at some point to see if I was having an off day tasting wise.

I cracked the Yamazaki immediately after bringing it home, wanted to see if it lived up to my memory of it, yes it did. Damn good stuff. I'd love to give the 18yr a try.

Has anyone tried the "new" Inchmurrin range? The bottles look terrible, but how's the juice?

I want to cut a bit back on drinking. Nothing wrong with a dram of Scotch in the evening though, so I've decided to stock up on Scotch. Fortunately, this coincided with a few great discounts/coupons. If all goes well, I'll get these in the next few days:

    Oogie (50 €)
    Corry (44 €)
    Longrow (25 €)
    Springlane 15 (44 €)

Looking forward to them, will report back.

I was off on a vacation and picked up the nectar d'or at duty free and had the Ealanta waiting for me when I got back. Haven't opened either yet, think I will wait until it's a bit warmer.

I went back to the store the day after I posted here about it to get a bottle of Companta and it was all sold out :brick: Knew I should have snapped it up right when I saw it.

There is a ton of Companta at my local (and Ealanta), I guess I ought to pick a bottle of it up.

Picked up a bottle today. More than willing to proxy if there is a non-illegal means of doing so.
