I'm sure you're correct (and I'm just lazy and/or trying to be brief). The only reason I'm usually precise...at least when it comes to spelling...is that I have an inline spell checker. I suppose I get a little dependent on it and unfortunately it doesn't know the difference.

    My apologies all around.

I was just a little confused by the amount of Google results (however, now that I check again, it somehow shows much fewer... oh well). Anyway, just so you know, it was a serious question.

I'm sure if you drink some more, your scotch will forgive you.

Tonight started with the balvenie doublewood, then progressed to a few drams of ardbeg 10 year :)

Ardbeg has really become my 'go-to' in the last week or so?

Up to you. I prefer a bit of water in most whisky--tames the alcohol a bit so that you can taste more of the intricacies.

This is where using local waters (local to the distillery) might have some currency.

There might be forgiveness to be found in a bottle of single malt scotch but I'll be damned if I go looking for it there.
