Interesting. "justsayno" gets the same perk at his company (maybe same company) and he made a similar offer in B&S today. The thread seemed to be split on the ethics of the case. Some found it distasteful. This camp feels SF is a, well, Forum, where people meet to share knowledge and help one another. Others found the offer perfectly reasonable. That camp probably views SF--at least the B&S section of SF--as a marketplace, where people meet to buy and sell things from one another. I think both camps are right; FWIW, I prefer to see a free exchange (open source) of ideas and info in the Forum and the offers to sell goods (and in this case a service), left to B&S.

My response was made in jest based on his post in B&S. I wouldn't try to sell a coupon code, particularly when it follows a sale for the exact same discount.
