Tour de France is one of my road trips go-to albums. When I think of th best music from a production stand point its these guys and Stevie Wonder who instantly come to mind.

"Who among us does not love Kraftwerk?"

As John Kerry once said.

Gotta love that name -- "Throbbing Gristle"; wonder what they were doing when they came up with that?

If you like Afrika Bambaataa you MUST check out Egyptian Lover. My House on the Nile has much unintentional humor.

And yes, I am a Kraftwerk fan. Die Mensch-Maschine und Computerwelt sind in meinem Bimmer jetzt.

Definitely a fan!!! I finally got to see them about 5 years ago when they came to Detroit--One of my all time favorites--a major influence of what is now known as "modern" music. Outside what is left of Rock(it's dead, dudes!), you can hear Kraftwerk in every pop/hip-hop song made since "Video Killed The Radio Star" and "The Message"--Looking forward to seeing them again!!!

Also a CV fan--I still have my "Yashar" 12' single from 1982. Enjoyed all of the experimental electronic music from the 70's and 80's. It would be nice if music became that avant-garde again!

Not a huge Kraftwerk fan. But I like a lot of the bands they inspired.

I even like that Coldplay song that bites the hook from "Computer Love."

Return of the zombie robot thread!

If anyone is curious, I finally got that tribute album (credit card rewards FTW!) - and other than 1-2 tracks I think it is smashing! Well worth it.

P.s. maybe I am just slow but I never noticed before yesterday that 808 State pilfered Kraftwerk's work for the bassline in "One in Ten"
