Hey. very specific question. Looking for a piece of work by Cage that consists of him reading brief stories while being accompanied by various sounds (done by someone else). It's probably around 10-20 minutes long. I remember something about being at a museum... Heard it on WNYU a few months ago and it's killing me to hear it again.
Thanks for any help.

Roaratorio? Cage reading Finnegan's Wake while a whole circus of stuff is going on. 'Indeterminacy' is maybe the most famous record - Cage tells a bunch of one minute stories while David Tudor makes noise in a separate room.

There's also 'Music for Museum Event' with Gordon Mumma and David Tudor which has Museum in the title.

I actually sampled this once.

Scroll down in the audio player and click on "Running Around".

Most of the music I have here is 7-8 years old, so it's not exactly representative of my best work.

Better than going into this thread thinking it's about Ally McBeal, I suppose.
