It will make it financially worthwhile for us to include Chicago in the next road trip to the US if we could obtain orders for 6 pairs of bespoke and 7 pairs of MTO IN CHICAGO.

Any interests?

This is a very tacky post. I am surprised Tony or Dean would post something like this!

You would never see Lobb or Cleverley doing this type of post, or blogging like this!

I know I am new to this website, but feel this should be for customers only!

Best,

Jon

While spamming is not tolerated, this website isn't for "customers only." That's absurd. Nice 10th post. Do you think you used enough exclamation points to get your point across!!!? Maybe next time you can type in all caps too.

Heh, if I lived in Chicago, I'd be very thankful for such an offer by G&G. A trunkshow where I live would be ideal, but it ain't going to happen

BSOLUTELY!

I am not moving back to Chicago until the summer so I do not know if I will be able to attend, but I thnk this is an excellent idea. I love Chicago, it is home, but it is not a great high-end footwear town and I am tired of going to NYC or London to buy shoes. Granted there is some limited availabilty of EG at Saks and EG RLPL and Grenson at PS, but for the most part it is slim pickings.

I can´t speak for all Chicagoans, but I would really appreciate a G&G trunk show and the ability to purchase shoes.

Thanks for thinking of us.

Does attend mean you'll buy shoes- which is what the OP wants to know.

Does anyone know if G&G seconds are available to the public? I recall some listings on eBay but was wondering if they have anything available if one is passing through Northampton.

Aside: is there a G&G trunk show scheduled for NYC any time soon?

Responding directly to the G&G rep:

Whether you have guarantees of the sales or not you should have the show in Chicago. I'm sure you know that it is the 3rd largest city in the U.S. Even if many people come just to look and don't buy anything this year, I am confident that a number of those people will become customers in the future because of the show. Your shoes are expensive but great, sometimes it takes a little bit of time to digest the cost. Your presence in Chicago will definitely pay dividends.

I think it is a nice offer for those in the midwest that cannot make it to the usual stops...iyorito is a member + G&G has a strong following here. For all you know members could have been contacting G&G and iyorito asking why they don't stop in Chicago...
