If the fees and services were competetive with what other proxies are offering, I'd be interested to get some things. Like Lane was saying, it'd be great to have someone who speaks fluent English answering questions.

If he's in Tokyo the loopwheeler store is by harajuku. Bought some sweatpants there on my trip. It's a bit of a pain to find, but if you know that it's off a side street and down some stairs in the basement of the building it's not too bad. Google maps does a good job of navigating you there. It found it for me just typing Loopwheeler in a search nearby to my location when I was in the area.

example of why I want someone who speaks english....I told hide-san to wait for my third item to ship, and while he was on break during the holidays he didn't answer while two of the items were arriving. I was fine with that, but I told him earlier not to ship when they arrive cuz I'd be getting another item, but he just ships....don't wanna pay for shipping for an individual item but this fugger didn't listen.

OH WELLS guess he gets to keep the shirt till I have funds

And then you have to buy more stuff to make the EMS shipping feel like it's worth it.

The current Julius is too theatrical for me to handle. But the leathers are still nice. NO Japanese sites offer size 4s, and markups here are about 100%.

To answer a few questions:

if you know what you want, and specifically the size, I can do in-store pick ups from locations in Tokyo. I know, and have been to, most of the stores of stuff we like around here so I don't mind walking in.

One thing I won't do, however, is go back and forth between stores only to check sizing - train rides are expensive and I'd be willing to do this for a pretty low rate, so it would be a shame to negate any small profit I'd be making for my time by losing money on the transportation.

As for Yahoo Auctions, I'll see what I can do. I don't have an account there, but my girlfriend does, so it may be a possibility.

For stuff like Julius, Attachment, etc. I speak Japanese so I can get them on the phone before-hand to check availability for larger sizes, etc.

It's generous that you are having thoughts about offering this service. But I assume you have a job. This process can be hectic and time consuming if you are doing it for small volume.
