Any information on this Rag and Bone coat?

Is it just me or that Rag and Bone doesn't have a corporate website? I can't seem to google it up.

http://www.hejfina.com/details.asp?t...Id=533#details

Anyways, I found this coat on Hejfina's website and it looks impressive along with the price tag. It's too bad that no information about the materials used is posted on the website and I can't seem to find it on the internet. Does anyone here have this coat? If so, how's the fit and quality of it? Thanks.

Wow, I can't believe this coat is sold out just as I was about to purchase it. Argh, I guess one of you purchased it.

Anyways, does anyone here know any other place that is selling the coat?

Doesn't look sold out to me, did you order it and they told you it was sold out, or were you looking for it in a size other than 46?

I forgot to mention that I was looking for a size 36. Unfortunately it's been sold out and the lady over the phone said they're not getting anymore. Argh, I've been trying for something like this for a while now and I really regret not buying it earlier this morning.

36 is a tough size to find nice stuff on sale, or even in stock at full price sometimes. I'm sorry you missed that coat. I am sure you will pull the trigger faster next time.

Oh well I guess it's not meant to be. I really do need a new coat and I have set my budget at $500. Yea, I realize size 36 is a tough size to find, which is why I set my budget to $500. I would spend more if it wasn't for the fact that I'm still in university. Maybe I'll save that $500 for next year and increase my budget and buy a coat in October instead of December.

I have this coat, I bought it a in October from Odin NYC. I paid the list $655 + nyc tax for about $700. I only saw two copies of it in black in size 40 and 46, and 1 in the grey heather. For something like this it's really difficult to find on sale!

It's a fine coat, much more tailored then everything i looked at, it's also much softer and a nice drape. I'm actually happy today paying that price.

It's a great coat, i'd suggest you size up unless you want a very slim coat. i wear a suit 38 (from a slim maker) and my coat is a 40, maybe a 39 would be ok but the 40 already has a noticeable suppresed waist. Keep looking worth it IMHO.

if someones a 48 that one on their site is a great deal, $340 is an amazing price for a great coat.

if you bought your suit size you could not get it over a suit. but more importantly you could not get it over anything more then a thin sweater. the shoulder is also quite narrow on mine. i never tried on a 38 (my suit size) so i can't tell you for sure, but i don't think it would work as a "coat" in your true size. It's my speculation, but if you're a 36 and you bought this coat in a 36 it would fit like a slim suit jacket 36. In theory that might sound good but it's not that practical for a coat.

this is the opposite over most over-coats which are big in your suit size (to allow fitting over a suit).

Thanks for the information. I'll be in NYC on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. I'll be searching around the stores for this coat. Thanks.
