Hello,

I have been using a London-based tailor for the past 7 years, but he has now started mentioning the "R" word i.e. retirement.

I have found that the silhouette of his suits are very similair to Raphael Rafaelli's (of which I own one). Possibly because his coat-maker is Italian. Obviously, not of the same level of hand-work as Raphael's suit, because his suits are much cheaper.

I am aware of the "name" tailors in Rome e.g. Caraceni, Battistoni etc . However, I would be very interested in feedback / recommendations of Rome-based tailors who are off the beaten track. The "West End" tailors of Rome, if you will.

Budget ranging from 800 GBP to 1500 GBP for a 2-pce suit.

Looking forward to your responses.

Mayday.
