So, I went thrifting in Paris today, at Guerrisol - an awfully uncharming store in a not so cozy neighbourhood. They were filling up the shoe-shelves, emptying bags full of filthy shoes - but I spotted a nice looking pair among them.
I've been wanting a pair of Park Avenue's for a while, but I find it quite a hassle to order from the US. These were similar enough to pass. And even in my size (a bit tight, but I think they'll be comfortable soon enough).
So, obviously, I bought them. Paid 25€ ($35), which is the set price for shoes, no matter how they look (I love thrift stores with that policy).
The brand puts me a bit off though, as I have an image of Burberry as being a bit superficial. But I inspected the shoes, and they seem thoroughly and well constructed. And they are in really good shape, just a small scratch on the toe of the left shoe, but other than that, they seem to have been used sparingly.
Pictures (taken with my iPhone, hence the quality):

P.S. It doesn't show from the photo, but they're quite «petite», which I like, because I'm a little man and it makes it all a bit more proportionate.
P.P.S. I should probably have put this in the thrifting-tread, but I would like to have some info on the brand as well. (Feel free to delete the thread if it should rather be posted there)
