Any hotel recommendations for Singapore and Bali?

Will be flying to Singapore first for a biz conference next month, then head up to Bali for a few days. Any good stays to recommend? Anything I need to be particularly mindful of?

No basis for comparison to other Singapore destinations, but Raffles is lovely and offers the best room service food I have ever had anywhere.

Unsure about Bali, but as far as Singapore is concerned, you could do your research by visiting www.hotelsandphotos.com . Plenty of luxury hotel room photos and videos there with prices of stay cited. Capella hotel looks like a blast, planning to try it if I ever fly there for a vacation.
