...tis the season, and just thought I'd ask if anyone has any favorite Xmas cds, new or old.
Right now, this is my favorite, new this year. Just amazing, and can't stop playing it (and yes, I "AM" that old!!!)
...and this is a review from the Birmingham News:
"Christmas Wish," ONJ Productions. You'll hear: The Aussie singer at her best. This mixture of spiritual and secular songs works, and that's a rare occurrence. Minute-long instrumentals take care of some of the traditional carols, and guests such as Jon Seceda, Michael McDonald and Barry Manilow join Newton-John on irresistible melodies.
Highlights: "Every Time It Snows" (with Jon Secada), "A Mother's Christmas Wish" (with Jim Brickman), "Little Star of Bethlehem," "Instrument of Peace" (with Marc Jordan).
Lowlights: None. Newton-John gives listeners one of the best Christmas albums ever.
You'll like it as much as: A cup of warm, mulled wine. Joey Kennedy --
