yes Howard is a great guy to deal with but he dont send samples swatches out with is a shame some times - as some you win some you dont!

Sometimes photos don't do justice to cloth.

Well, that's what it's on the selfedge (and it's usually presented on the photos).
The real test is of course having the cloth in hands and feeling it.
As a note, imitating a selfedge is not difficult at all, apart from seller's word and customer feedback what kind of info would you look for, shipment point?

Yes, it seems genuine. He's located in Yorkshire, therefore he has direct access to the mills, middlemen, etc.

You can buy Minnis online. Top of the line stuff and no risks.

I've bought a lot of fabric from him and I've never been disappointed. It's important to note that his eBay lots depend more on his written descriptions than his photographs. You have to know the terminology.

Just to confirm a positive first order with Howard / British Fabrics - I ordered some pure cashmere tweed and it arrived two days later. It's a lovely fabric, possibly better than described.
