What were your experiences? ie. shipping costs, duty, time.

I'm willing to cough up the five bills and change for a medium classic and a reasonable amount for the rest; however, if it's going to cost me plane ticket to Texas's price in customs, duty, etc, i'd rather not.

Thanks.

If you're concerned, use a proxy.

Proxy- Having someone stateside mail it to you...

Have you checked eBay? I'll be selling my medium dark tobacco briefcase there later this week.

Another option would be to get it shipped to the border. I've had good luck with Kinek (www.kinek.com), which basically set me up with a pay-as-you-go receiving address for my US packages. I'll often cross over to Buffalo (US flights are cheaper when they're domestic) and pick up things I've had shipped there for me. Most recently picked up a bunch of BB non-iron shirts that I ordered online. Sweet.

It's up to you to decide how much you divulge about your purchases to the Customs officials when you cross back north.
