Thanks. I figure my AMs (now three pairs and counting, all of which I’ve only worn 1-2 times) are going to have some tough break in period. The cutting at the sides of the ankles are definitely the worst experience so far, optimistic to hear this might be a normal thing and should go away.

It could be the topline is cutting your ankles. Being a new pair might make it seem worse than what it is. I did have the same issue but strangely only for one pair (I have 5). But it was resolved after a few wears.

Like what everyone has said, it really depends on the fit of the lasts to your feet. I never had any break in issues with AM. Comfy right out of the box except for that one pair that bit into my ankle for a while.

Good to hear it resolved after a few wears. I also have some light blistering on my small toe but that seems like an easy fix with shoe trees and wearing a few more times. The leather around the ankle really does seem rigid and thick.

It is funny I have this issue on one pair and not the others, hopefully will achieve perfection after the break in for all my AMs!

yup we were in that same GMTO that Thundermarch organized.

For the fun of it, I have been thinking of doing a pair of spectators with AM. Using the Optio model, in navy calf and grey suede, in the Chisel 2 last.
Anyone might be interested? ;)

Went to take a look at lunch break. I really like the Nassim in Grey Anthracite. Yeossal guys mentioned they will not be bringing in any more AMs in the future stating that his online webshop prices are too competitive and that lead times to get stock is around 9months.

Thanks for the info & the photos.

Is the last one the Dalvey? I like it quite a bit from photos in Yeossal website. It looks quite different. Still nice, though.

I wonder if the third shoe is the same color as on Meccariello's website? Yeossal's shoe looks more brown-ish in your picture while Meccariello's look more red-ish. https://www.meccarielloshoes.it/product/armiticos-color-melograno-last-b2/

Also, do you guys take the same size in Argentum soft square and B last?

Yep the last one is the Dalvey. The photos on Yeossal site are the stock photos from AM I believe. This is precisely why I say don’t trust the heavily saturated stock photos
