th

they look great but the welt looks like it sticks out more than avg on the loafers. is that true or just the angle of the pic?

It does seem stick out from this angle, but if you look at it from the top you would not notice it that much.

The loafer comes from his RTW line:

And the other is my second test shoes (with extra patina)

I have flat feet and require additional arch support, hence I have some issue with my first test shoes, however the second one seems pretty good (need a couple more wears to try it out fully.) I will post more photos on them:)

08/24: Photos added, note that Photo 7 is a waist comparison between AM test shoes and ... GG Deco.

I thought flat feet would require less arch support, and high arches more support. Feet are weird.

There are podiatric/ "orthopaedic"/ health shoe brands claiming flat foot in adulthood is caused by shoes lacking arch support in childhood. And they also say that flat feet would lead to easy tiredness when walking when the arch is not supported back into the intended hollow.

Formal Western medical teaching seems to suggest flat feet or high arch are mostly just extremes of the bell curve, with little pathological things to worry about. Certain genetic diseases such as Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease can lead to high arch feet, but that is a problem not corrected by shoes.

And then at the end of the day, feet feel a bit more "relaxed" and comfortable when they are given proper support (complex issue here), and perhaps that's why bespoke matters...
