That currency difference probably affects our Canadian counterparts more. My reasoning to lift my spirits is, "at least it's not Canadian dollars I'm working with".
I always feel better about it when I remember back when I studied in Italy and went on a shopping spree near Piazza di Spagna after a particularly boozy lunch and forgot about the exchange rate when it was somewhere around 1.6/1

By the Spanish steps! Definitely boozy. That's a tourist trap over by there.

Yes euros are +50%

Is the GMTO freze covid related ?
And is the wait really 1 year for AM ?
It was a slight exaggeration. I think it’s quoted 20-24 weeks for MTO plus winter and summer vacations if you hit one of those. So 6-8 months give or take?

Oh my days.. +50%. ??‍♂️

As @Jmr928 mentioned, you'd be looking at 6-8 months. I'm going to say the freeze is indeed Covid related. The employees, or lack there of, has delayed the operation a bit.

I'll go on the limb and state that I believe you and many others on here can absolutely wait until normal activities resume. I feel confident in saying that because we don't have too many newbie shoe owners on here.

For those who have an order in progress, the wait must be agonizing. Probably feel like the sands of time. ⏳

On this idea of waiting and for those who are wondering how long Aurum/Bespoke orders take (also if you think you've waited enough), I waited 20 months for my order to be completed.

Yes you read that properly. Almost 2 years.

Worth the wait though, yes?

I certainly hope you had a pair or two to wear while you waited at least.
