Huang is MTO (closer to StC model with modification), it's just a "wish list thing" (and was definitely one thing stood out when I saw Huang's IG for the first time). I mean I'm sure you can have it on Aurum, no complain on Argenutum especially for the price.

I mean if people truly want to deceive (and be smarter about it) then yup...
Let's disrupt the industry by making the implementing the signposts of quality shoemaking in a completely ineffective way.

1. Sandwich recycled printer paper between the thinnest possible layers of veg tanned leather,
2. Hand dimple the insole
3. Hand stitch a welt strip but glue on a similarly sandwiched outsole
4. Decorative single needle stitching on each pattern piece but glue them together with Elmer's

Could be an artefact of the way that AM does his blind waist in that it isn't a 'true' blind waist?

The stuff they've been putting out seems like it's been a slight step up. @JustPullHarder boots look more like the picture of the black principes that are both more like the Hung than some of the other stuff. Damn there's my reminder that I still need to put in my order... but what to buy.

You need last modification right though (need lower instep)? Are you looking for Oxford or something else?

For science! The wingtip boot is from circa June, loafer from circa August, and the Balmoral about 10 days ago lol.

It's complicated ha. I can manage soft square RTW. They have a modified chisel 2 that is 1/4 size smaller to fit like soft square I could try as RTW or I could try a reduced instep Chisel 2 with them lasted with open laces and a D fitting for a small upcharge. Or I could just buy my own last for 150. I think Decurion 3 if I go the RTW route, if I go the MTO route one of the Principes or Hastatus are the route I'd go.

Hastus is a good choice, so is Decurion 3, if I buy another oxford would definitely be Decurion 3 (been saying that for what 2 year now...?)

Science confirmed! Awesome collection but that newest balmoral. Man that is clean.
I think as nice as AM's crust is, I would rather an aniline leather and this vintage annonay stuff is amongst the most supple yet dense grained leather I have seen.

The vintage d’annonay is amazing. I went deep down the rabbit hole trying to figure out if there was any way I could source it or some vintage freudenberg (before the move to Poland) for the commission I’ve got going right now. I think it’s popped up on this thread before but just the vintage stuff in general is so good.

So what's the secret to acquiring shoes made with it?
