Regarding colours, he said anything from various shades of brown, to navy or dark green would be possible.

As for stability of the colour, from my antique effect shell chelsea boot it seems okay. Not sure about more extensive/ darker colouring like these.

The batch is being made. I would suggest you contact him now such that some special arrangements can be made - from experience if Antonio is making something as a batch, throw in some small adjustments is easy - otherwise you may end up enjoying the surcharge from a single MTO ?

Boots could require a slightly different size. How about buying another ready to wear pair Chisel 2 from the webstore to check? ?

He has almost nothing RTW in my size everything is the usual AM wait, that’s probably the one downside with him

I thought sabot stop a long time ago, medallion is mostly on its own last? Fineshoeshk still have left over stock if I remember

You should just email him to get your pair alongside the batch. Chisel 2 is a good last, and widening for width is generally easy...

Just don’t think too much about the stockists. There won’t be cordovan stock...

I'm afraid I'm still not entirely sure what you mean about the 'batch' being made. He's putting together some RTW on un-painted shell that can be purchased individually and colored to order? I'm definitely interested, just not fully sure what I'm interested in.

Talk to AM on IG he is still working out pricing, definitely a unique offering, don’t think anyone else does patina shell? He says he is still experimenting as some piece could broke and hope to land pricing in the 1200 to 1300 euro range (probably closer to 1300 than 1200 Euro)
